Bocaditos de Jamon (Little Ham Bites)

A savory, but not overbearing ham spread for a quick nibble that's ridiculously fast and easy to make.
Servings: 4

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb cooked ham not deli sliced
  • 1 8 oz package of cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 4 oz jar diced/sliced pimentos drained
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 pkg of 12 King's Hawaiian dinner rolls or 4 pieces of white bread with the crusts cut off.

Method
 

  1. Throw all the ingredients into a food processor and process until it is a thick paste.
  2. Spread thickly on the dinner rolls and enjoy, or
  3. spread thick on one slice of white bread and place another piece on top and cut in an asterisk formation to create 8 small triangles.

Notes

Some people like to add pickle relish, some like to add green olives. I'm a purist and wouldn't taint a perfect snack food - although I might consider adding black olives when I make this again.
