Last week, I made another favorite of my mom’s meals: good ole fashioned meatballs. I must admit, I don’t know why exactly these are Cuban style. Is it because mom made them? Is it the dry white wine and bay leaf? Is it because we eat them over rice instead of pasta? Would these even taste good over pasta? I can’t entertain this notion; they just go best with rice, okay?
