It isn’t too early to be thinking about the winter holidays and how I plan to make this recipe in triplicate for the festivities. It’s technically egg nog, but it is superior to the junk you buy in a carton from the supermarket, primarily because nothing ever tastes better than home made. Nothing. My favorite part of the holidays as a kid was when we were allowed to have a just a little taste of the crema de vie. My grandmother would say, “No te gustaria (You wouldn’t like it)”. Thankfully, she was wrong. This is guaranteed to disappear quickly so since this recipe doubles up easily, double or triple all the ingredients. Makes a nice gift, too!
